Terms of Service

VirtualClothingTryOn.com ("we", "us", "VCTON") provides an AI virtual try-on widget, Shopify app, and merchant dashboard. By installing the Shopify app, embedding the widget, or creating an account, you ("Merchant") agree to these Terms.

We provide (a) a hosted API that generates virtual try-on images from a shopper photo and a garment image, (b) a Shopify theme app extension that renders a try-on button on product pages, and (c) a dashboard for managing products, size charts, and billing.

• By installing the app you grant the OAuth scopes shown at install time (read products, write products, read customers, read orders, write script tags, read themes). We use these only to operate the service.
• Billing for paid plans is processed through the Shopify Billing API and appears on your Shopify invoice. Cancelling the app in Shopify cancels the subscription at the end of the current cycle.
• You are responsible for compliance with Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy and Merchant Terms of Service in your store.
• When you uninstall the app, we delete or anonymise your shop data within 30 days, in line with Shopify's data-retention requirements (48 hours for customer-data redaction requests).

You may not use the service to (a) generate try-on images of identifiable people without their consent, (b) generate sexually explicit, violent, or unlawful imagery, (c) reverse engineer the API, or (d) resell the output as a standalone AI image-generation product. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

The first 50 try-ons per calendar month are free on every plan. Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify Billing or Stripe. Overage is billed at the per-try-on rate listed on the pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law — see our Refund Policy.

You retain all rights in your garment images, product data, and store content. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service. We retain all rights in the widget, dashboard, models, and API.

Try-on images generated for a shopper belong to that shopper. We process them on your behalf as a data processor — see our Data Processing Addendum.

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that try-on output will be a perfect representation of fit. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination we delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
